Design Your Own Tile: Pop Art, Delft Blue, Sketch and Photo Styles

Our custom tile range takes your photo and redraws it in one of seven styles, from Warhol-style pop art to traditional Dutch Delft Blue pottery to a fine pencil sketch, then UV prints it onto a 100mm x 100mm ceramic tile.

Each tile is about 4 inches square, printed onto premium ceramic so the colour lasts. You upload the photo, we do the conversion, and you end up with a small piece of wall art that looks hand-made.

The Bold Styles

Pop Art Custom Tile — £30.00

Your photo turned into pop art, with bold colours, Ben-Day dots and strong contrasts inspired by Warhol and Lichtenstein. It works best with clear portraits, because faces with strong features give the most dramatic results.

This is the loudest tile in the range and the hardest to ignore on a wall. An ordinary portrait comes out looking like a Soho gallery print.

90s Cartoon Custom Tile — £30.00

90s cartoon styling with bold colours and that classic Nickelodeon look. It redraws any photo as if it came from a Saturday morning cartoon.

It's particularly good for children's bedroom art, pet portraits and anyone who grew up watching Rugrats and Dexter's Laboratory. A cartoon version often shows someone's personality better than a straight photo does.

The Classic Styles

Delft Blue Tile — £24.99

Your photo redrawn in the Dutch Delft Blue pottery style, with cobalt blue watercolour tones and decorative floral ornaments that make any image look centuries old. It suits landscapes, buildings, portraits and pets equally well.

Delft Blue has been a design staple since the 17th century, so a tile in this style sits naturally in kitchens, hallways and living rooms.

Delft Blue Bordered Tile — £24.99

The same Delft Blue style with a traditional ornate border, which makes it look even more like real Dutch pottery, the kind you'd find in a Delft museum shop. The border draws the eye to the central image and makes the tile look more formal and finished.

Two or three of these arranged together on a kitchen wall look like a collected set.

The Sketch Styles

Black & White Sketch Tile — £24.99

Your photo redrawn as a fine pencil sketch in black and white, which picks up texture and form well. It looks like a commissioned pencil drawing instead of a phone filter.

Portraits, pets and architectural photos work particularly well. The sketch strips away colour and keeps only the essential lines and details, so the result is quiet and understated.

Red Fineline Tile — £24.99

The same fine line illustration technique, but in a pinkish-red tone. The single colour makes it warmer than the black and white version, and it sits well alongside other warm-toned decor.

Pet portraits in this style are especially popular. The detailed linework captures fur texture and expression with surprising accuracy.

Black & White Photo Tile — £24.99

A professional black and white conversion of your photo, UV printed directly onto ceramic. There's no artistic restyling here, just a clean B&W version of your image, for photos that already look good and only need the monochrome treatment.

Wedding photos, family portraits and architectural shots all suit this style, and black and white makes any image feel a little more formal.

Choosing the Right Style

Display Ideas

Each tile is 100mm x 100mm, about the size of a coaster. They weigh very little and hang easily with a single picture hook or 3M adhesive strip. A few ways to display them:

• For a gallery wall, mix three to five tiles in different styles using the same photo. One image shown as Pop Art, Delft Blue and Sketch side by side makes a good talking point.
• For a kitchen, run three Delft Blue tiles along a shelf or above a worktop. Blue and white tiles were made for kitchens in the first place.
• In a bedroom, a single Pop Art or 90s Cartoon tile on a bedside shelf or above a desk is bold enough to stand on its own.
• For a pet wall, use the same pet photo in every style. Pet owners can add a new style each time, so seeing their dog or cat in Pop Art, Sketch and Cartoon becomes a collection that grows.

Delivery and Returns

All tiles are produced within 1-2 business days and shipped via standard delivery in 3-5 business days from dispatch. Standard delivery is free on orders over £75 (two tiles qualifies), or £4.95 for single orders.

As all products are made to order, we are unable to offer refunds or returns. If your tile arrives damaged or defective, contact us with photos and we will replace it or issue a full refund.
