Guide to printed (full-colour) ball marker coins for 2026: photo, crest, text or AI designs, 30mm or 40mm, single or double-sided, plus an optional engraved reverse. From £15.99, UK delivery.

Printed Ball Marker Coins: Put a Photo, Crest or AI Design on Your Golf Marker (2026)

For years a personalised ball marker meant one thing: initials or a date engraved into metal. Tasteful, timeless — but limited to text. New for 2026, the Custom Printed Ball Marker Coin opens the whole face of the coin up to full colour.

What "Printed" Actually Means Here

The printed coin uses the same circular-print process behind our custom golf balls — a full-colour, durable UV print across the coin face. That unlocks three ways to design it:

  • A photo. A dog, a grandchild, the recipient on the 18th — anything that fits a circle.
  • A crest or logo. Club badges, society emblems, a company logo for corporate days.
  • Text and icons. The same flexibility as engraving, but in any colour.
  • An AI design. Upload a rough photo and use the built-in AI tool to turn it into a clean, stylised design — a caricature, a cartoon, a painterly course scene.

If the engraved coin is the understated classic, the printed coin is the one that gets passed around the clubhouse.

Single or Double-Sided

Both faces of the coin can be personalised. Keep the same design front and back, or run two completely different ones. And because we offer both processes, you can mix them: a full-colour printed photo on the front and an engraved name and date on the reverse.

A few combinations that work well:

  • Front: club crest in colour. Back: engraved member name + joining year.
  • Front: a photo of the recipient. Back: engraved "Hole in One — [date]".
  • Front and back: two different course photos for a golf-trip souvenir set.

30mm or 40mm?

Same sizing logic as the engraved coin. 30mm is the everyday pocket carry; 40mm is the tournament standard with a bigger face — which matters more for a printed coin, because a larger circle shows a photo or crest far better.

Pricing

Simple size × sides pricing:

  • 30mm: £15.99 single side, £19.99 double-sided
  • 40mm: £19.99 single side, £24.99 double-sided

Still a pocket-money gift, with a lot more personalisation than a printed plastic disc.

Printed or Engraved — Which Should You Choose?

  • Choose engraved for understated, text-based gifts: initials, dates, club roles, society names. Timeless and never fades.
  • Choose printed when you want colour: a photo, a crest, or an AI design that becomes a talking point.
  • Choose both — print one side, engrave the other — when you want the best of each.

Lead Times and Delivery

Printed items are quicker to produce than engraved metal, but for fixed dates — a birthday, a society day, a member-guest — order with a week of buffer. As every coin is personalised to order, refunds and returns are not available on personalised items unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

Start with the Custom Printed Ball Marker Coin, compare it with the engraved version, or browse the full Golf collection to build a coin-ball-tee set.
