EngravedWEDGES

Premium wedges from Ping and TaylorMade with professional laser engraving.

Why engrave a wedge?

A wedge is the club a golfer reaches for when the round is on the line. Engraving one turns a working tool into a keepsake: the initials of a son who just made his first eagle, a wedding date tucked behind the hosel, a father's name on a 56° left to his son. Unlike a trophy that sits on a shelf, an engraved wedge is used, seen and talked about every weekend at the club. It's also a practical marker — handy at a busy UK golf club where half the bag looks identical on a Saturday morning.

We stock premium wedges from Ping, TaylorMade, Titleist and Callawayand engrave them in-house rather than drop-shipping. Every club is inspected, engraved, re-inspected and packed by the same small team. Because the wedge never leaves our workshop until it's ready for you, turnaround is usually 3–5 working days, with free tracked UK delivery on orders over £75.

The engraving process

Engraving is done with a fibre laser calibrated for forged and cast club heads. The beam removes a fine layer of the factory finish to a depth of roughly 0.1–0.15mm — deep enough to stay crisp after years of bunker shots, shallow enough that it won't interfere with the club's structural integrity or MOI. Titleist Vokey SM11 and Callaway Opus SP take engraving beautifully on the cavity; Ping S259 (both Chrome and Midnight finishes) and TaylorMade MG5 have generous flat areas on the back that suit longer messages. We can fit roughly three short lines of text, or initials with a date, on most wedge heads.

Which wedge suits which player?

For a mid-handicap golfer who wants forgiveness and a soft feel around the greens, the Ping S259 in 54° or 56° is hard to beat. Low-handicap players who shape shots and work the face tend to prefer the Titleist Vokey SM11 or TaylorMade MG5 in 58° or 60°. If you're buying as a gift and you're not sure of the recipient's preferences, a 56° sand wedge with a standard bounce is the safest choice — it's the club almost every golfer uses most often. If you'd rather pair the club with something more decorative, our golf display cases or a set of personalised golf balls make a natural companion.

UK shipping and returns

Every engraved wedge is dispatched from our United Kingdom workshop on a tracked 24–48 hour service. Standard UK delivery is free on orders over £75, or £4.95 below that. Personalised clubs are made to order, so we can't accept returns on the engraving itself — but if there's ever a defect in the club or our work, we'll replace it, no quibble.
