Every order has two separate clocks running one after the other.

Stage one: production, 1-2 business days. This is where your item is actually made — the engraving is cut, the photo is printed, the plaque is assembled. Nothing ships during this window.

Stage two: delivery, 3-5 business days from dispatch. Standard delivery is the only UK service we offer. There is no express tier, no next-day upgrade and no Saturday service, so this window cannot be shortened by paying more.

Added together, a realistic order-to-doorstep window is 4 to 7 business days. Business days matter here: weekends do not count toward either stage.

Christmas Day 2026 falls on a Friday. Working backwards using the 4-7 business day window, and treating 25 December as the day it needs to be in someone's hands:

It sounds absurdly early. It is also the single easiest way to get a better gift.

Personalised gifts need something from you before they can be made — a photo, a date, a name spelled correctly, a song. In December, people pick whatever photo is nearest the top of their camera roll. In September, there is time to find the good one, ask a sibling for the picture from the wedding, or check how someone actually spells their middle name.

The gifts that land hardest are the ones where the personalisation is right, not the ones that arrived fastest.

Choosing Something That Suits the Deadline You Have Left

If you are reading this in December rather than September, the practical question is what still fits the window.

A Note on Getting It Wrong

Because everything is made to order and personalised, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on personalised items. If something arrives damaged or defective, contact us with photos and we will replace it or refund it in full — but a change of mind, or a name spelled the way it was submitted, is not something that can be unpicked once it has been engraved.
